(Norton 202) The earliest recordings by the master of lunacy, the Voola man himself! Eskew Reeder taught Little Richard and he'll learn you, too! Just open wide and say Woo--aaagh! All cuts from 1958 (2 with Blue Caps' Paul Peek)! Sorry, wig hat not included!

Best & rawest Esquerita performances

Of all his recordings this LP captures Esquerita's raw craziness the best. The fidelity isn't as high as his Capitol stuff but the moment where you hear his piano stool fall over with a loud clunk during "I Got A Lot To Learn" and he *keeps going* is one of my fave LOL moments in the whole history of rock and roll.

First thing was the hole in the record was not made to fit. I had to force it to fit the record player. Second, the record does not play right. Esquerita sounds like a demon & I even checked all the speeds. Not sure what happened. First time a Norton vinyl has ever had these issues.
